About Us
Founded in 2007, the mission of Center City Arts is to provide a forum for examining, collecting and creating in a context that respects the importance of ideas and sensations. Offering arts experiences that both illuminate and delight, exhibitions include works of photography, 2-d and 3-d fiber-based art, mixed media and fine graphic designs on paper, contemporary ceramic sculptural objects and Judaica. In addition to exhibitions and events, Center City Arts will offer classes in art for children and adults. Schedule TBA.
Center City Arts is located in Downtown Richmond, Virginia, close to the lively arts district where the First Friday Art Walk attracts many visitors. It is positioned near both campuses of Virginia Commonwealth University and within walking distance of the soon-to-open Center Stage (formerly the Performing Arts Center)and the Richmond Convention Center
